3M™ 2814 UV Resistant Masking Tape 36mm x 50m

Description

3M™ 2814 UV Resistant Masking Tape is a high-performance masking tape designed for professional paint masking applications where reliable performance, clean removal and resistance to outdoor exposure are required. Manufactured by 3M™, it features a green crepe paper backing with a rubber adhesive, providing secure adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, including irregular substrates.

Specifically developed for applications where exposure to ultraviolet light is a consideration, 3M™ 2814 provides reliable UV resistance for up to 14 days outdoors. This makes it particularly suitable for outdoor painting, construction and maintenance applications where masking may need to remain in place for an extended period. The tape is designed to remove cleanly from most surfaces in one piece, with little to no edge residue, even following outdoor exposure.

The strong rubber adhesive provides dependable holding power across a range of substrates, helping the tape remain securely in place during painting and other masking applications. The crepe paper backing is conformable and allows the tape to follow irregular surfaces and contours while maintaining its integrity during application.

3M™ 2814 is designed to help prevent paint bleed-through, providing consistent and crisp paint lines for a professional-quality finish. It is also easy to unwind and can be torn by hand, allowing quick and efficient application without the need for additional tools.

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, 3M™ 2814 is particularly useful where masking needs to remain in place for longer periods or where exposure to sunlight and weather conditions would make a standard indoor masking tape unsuitable.
