3M™ Aqua Washi Tape 2899 is a specialist, high-performance masking tape designed for professional paint masking applications where exceptionally sharp paint lines and clean, precise results are required. Manufactured by 3M™, it features a thin, flat Washi paper backing combined with a firm acrylic adhesive, providing excellent conformability and reliable adhesion across a wide range of surfaces.

The thin and flexible Washi backing allows 3M™ 2899 to follow both straight and curved paint lines, making it particularly suitable for detailed masking and applications where a clean separation between different paint colours or finishes is essential. The tape is designed to provide consistently sharp paint edges while maintaining its integrity during application and removal.

The firm acrylic adhesive provides reliable adhesion while allowing the tape to be removed cleanly and easily. 3M™ 2899 is also designed to resist paint flaking during removal, helping to minimise the risk of paint damage and reducing the need for additional finishing work.
