tesa® 4432 Specialist Masking Tape is a durable, heavy-duty masking tape designed for demanding industrial applications where high strength, excellent adhesion and resistance to abrasive processes are required. Manufactured by tesa®, it features a tough, stabilised flatback paper backing combined with a strong natural rubber adhesive, providing reliable adhesion across a wide range of substrates.

The robust paper backing makes tesa® 4432 particularly suitable for use as a stencil material during sandblasting applications. It can be used to mask glass, mirrors and stone, providing protection to areas that need to remain unaffected during abrasive blasting. The tape offers normal sandblasting durability at 6 seconds at 4 bar and is particularly suited to detailed masking and stencil applications where the backing needs to withstand the blasting process without tearing or lifting.

tesa® 4432 also provides excellent adhesive properties on different substrates, making it suitable for applications where strong and dependable holding power is required. The flat, stable backing offers good plottability and can be used to create accurate stencil designs, while its excellent paint anchorage makes it suitable for spray painting and other coating applications.

The tape has good hand tearability despite its durable construction, allowing it to be applied efficiently without the need for additional cutting equipment. Its strong adhesive and high tensile strength also make it suitable for specialist applications such as splicing, reinforcing, belting and fixing materials in manufacturing environments.

tesa® 4432 can also be laminated to the rear of mirrors to provide shatterproof safety protection and meets the requirements of DIN EN 12600. This makes it a particularly versatile specialist tape for glass-processing, manufacturing and industrial applications where additional reinforcement and protection are required.
